A terrifying scene unfolded in Dharali village, Uttarkashi, on August 5 after a cloudburst triggered massive flooding in the Kheerganga River. Locals were seen running for their lives as water and debris tore through the village. Many people are feared buried under the rubble, and rescue teams have been deployed.
