This seems to correlate with Reb Dov’s analysis that instead of the war being fought in Jerusalem, HaShem moved it to Ukraine:
“ instead of the nations or Russia sending troops to divide Yerushalayim, they are fighting over Ukraine. HaShem has simply diverted the Causus Belli from Eretz Yisrael to the Ukraine at this stage in the 9 months.”
