Time will tell, and we will wait to see if we have witnessed America's 'Swan Song,' after viewing the scope of the disaster inflicted on the commercial and financial hub of America, New York, reminiscent of the 9/11 impact on her psyche and as a 'world power'.
"Swan Song" has become an idiom referring to a final theatrical or dramatic appearance, or any final work or accomplishment.
