Birds dropping from the sky, fish dying mysteriously:

1,000 blackbirds fall from the sky over an Arkansas town...Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said the birds showed physical trauma, and she speculated that “the flock could have been hit by lightning or high-altitude hail.”




Earthquake (and warning for the future) in the North of Israel:

Northern Israel rattled by 3.6 magnitude earthquake. No injuries or damage reported; Beit She'an area felt quake the strongest but actual source has yet to be identified. Haaretz

Scientists have warned that Israel is likely to experience a strong earthquake, measuring at least 7.5 on the Richter scale, in the near future. The epicenter will be near Beit Shean, they say.


Flood Waters in Australia:

Floods that have inundated 22 Australian towns and forced more than 200,000 from their homes headed toward the northeast coast on New Year's Day, forcing further evacuations and warnings of 30-ft flood waters.
