The Otniel settlement near Chevron mourns the tragic death of Rabbi Dan Martzbach, killed by IDF fire. R' Dan was mistakenly taken for a terrorist, driving without headlights and not responding to soldiers' call to come to a stop. Rabbi Martzbach, 55 years old, was a beloved figure in Chevron, and an avid participant in the farbrengens and Chassidus shiurim at the local Chabad House run by Shliach Rabbi Yosef Dahan. He was also a participant at the shiurei Tanya taught by Rabbi Kalman Druk for many years.
