Just to further add a bit of interesting information to your already well-researched post:<br />The arsons of which the rabbi was accused were solely of stores that sold pork in Jerusalem. The damage was caused at night when things were completely empty with absolutely no intent whatsoever to hurt any human being and as far as I know, no one was ever injured in any way. It merely discouraged the provocateurs from selling pork to fellow Jews in Eretz Hakodesh and made sure that they received no financial benefit from their childish rebellion.<br />Sorry if I'm saying something that you all already know.<br />Note: I'm not saying he did it, I'm just saying that these were the arsons to which are referred in the article.Myrtle Risingnoreply@blogger.com
