Rav Richter on Pittsburgh: Some Insights and Torah Wisdom (Part 1)

Recommended:  Rav Richter Gives Us a Wake Up Call

Rav Richter gives his analysis of the Pittsburgh shooting, together with his wisdom, and Torah insights. I found many of the things he pointed out to be very insightful.

Here is something I caught from the following discourse:

Meshech Hochmah, on Reb Meir Simcha, written before the Shoah (leviticus 26:44) about Divine Providence: Hashem gives the Jew a rest of 50 years, or 200 years, [in one golus or another] and then a tsunami will arise without mercy because we have forgotten “We are Strangers in a Strange Land”, to remind the Jew he is a Jew; and another Storm arises to make the Jew go out from there (as opposed to Avraham and Lech Lecha).

What I caught was that there is a connection/remez of the Meir Simcha and the name of the Temple in Pittsburgh: Or L’SIMCHA. That’s it, Meir Simcha and the Or L’Simcha. There are other remazim that the Rav speaks about, from Bereshis Rabba 33:8 and Yalkut Shimoni on parshas Noach, about the Dove.

In Deuteronomy 28, it says the Jewish People will not find rest for their feet [in their wanderings] and that the Dove also did not find rest for his feet. From this our Sages say there will only be temporary rest [in our many golus], but then it will be time to move on. Reb Dov bar Leib also spoke lengthy about the Dove

Another interesting thing he pointed out, this Temple started out as an Orthodox Synagogue 154 years ago, being one of the oldest in America, a foundation of American Jewry, representing roots, Jewish roots in a foreign country, in America.

28 years ago, 18 Marcheshvan in NY R Kahane (57 yrs) was murdered - same day at the Pittsburgh

He spoke about ZERO an emergency evacuation of Jews from America - his last words
There are no coincidences. Everything is a sign from above. Rabbi Kahane: "Liquidate the exile before the exile liquidates you."

The ADL (1979) stated that antisemitic incidents surged in 2017 by 57%.
Marvin Heir said we may be at the beginning of what started in Europe, and he’s afraid the worst is yet to come.
