Horrifying Last 14 Minutes

The tragedy of the Air France Airbus on its way from Brazil to France is a terrible tragedy for all the surviving family members and friends of the passengers. Our hearts are in anguish and mourn together with them.

This particular explanation is the only possible comfort to the families, for lack of a more appropriate term -- which means that their very very last moments may have been spent unconscious, hopefully after praying.


“[…] But once the cabin pressure failed, they would have been unconscious in half a minute, Voss and other experts said.  

"It would have been as quick as the moment when one falls asleep," Dr. Philippe Juvin, head of emergencies at Beaujon Hospital west of Paris, told the French newspaper Le Monde.
